Story telling, illustration and escaping into fantastic worlds are great, but I find it harder and harder to concentrate on such things these past few months. And now we are, well, we are ‘In it.’
I’m embedding a link to a fine mini-documentary by Max Keiser. If you have any interest in what the world is facing right now, watch this. It’s maybe 10 minutes of your life, and you will walk away with a much better understanding (and perhaps fear) or what is going on. Max talks economics, but in a fresh, entertaining way that doesn’t talk down to an audience.
A few comments on Max. I worked for Max when I first moved to LA. I had never met a creative capitalist to the degree that Max owns that term. I mean, what else to call a retired stockbroker who was also filled with wildly creative ideas (online games, movies, financing of independent films, TV Shows ETC) and opinions about world economics that definitely changed my perspective on things.
This was posted a year or so ago…and boy oh boy…does it hit the nail on the head.
And this one – it speaks exactly to what the US Govt. just did. Print more money, borrow more money and leave us citizens in a mess in order to ‘help’ the bankers.
