Volcano Man

Some work-in-progress here. It’s a HUGE painitng, so this reduced size is a little less effective. It is a double page spread. And the design of this story has me thinking of an animated short based on it as well.
The illustration is great. I like the contrast between the boat and the terrain. Mountains look scary and one must admit that a Volcano Man does not live in a pleasant and peaceful neighborhood. Poor fellow he is — but no need for heating his home during the winter. Pros and cont hide in every single thing.
As WordPress has increased capacity of everyone’s accounts up to 3 GB (for no costs), now you can upload huge versions of your illustrations! It would be a benefit for us all, I suppose. Me looking forward.
