Cave Bear and Duck

In the mid-1960’s I developed a comic book, comic-duo called Cave Bear and Duck. OK. It wasn’t the 1960’s, but it was way back in the 2004’s. In like March. It was a different time. Movie tickets cost $8.50 and you could buy an entire chicken dinner for as little as $6.00. FDR was President and Oregon was still fighting its war of independence with California. Brave Oregon.Anyway, they made an appearance in a comic book called Cenozoic. One of the funniest 5 comics I have ever done. Well, it’s one of only 4 comics I have ever done, so it’s assured a good spot. Here in all its online glory is the ONLY full-color Cave Bear and Duck story. It’s 29 pages long and has a surprise ending.

I love Cave Bear and Duck!! Though I must admit I am partial to Jerry Caveman Inventor, which is my favorite ever. (More of those, please!) But this is fantastic.
I won’t tell you all the things I love about it, because I’ll just sound foolish. But I love it.
Hey Rita. Hope you like this cave bear and duck story. It’s actually one of my favorites. I think it has a good BIG idea, and is still funny. I mean, ducks on fire…what’s funnier?
I DO have a new Jerry The Caveman Inventor story in the works. This one is more complicated. Jerry gets caught up trying to stop his tribe from building a statue to the Beetle God, invents deep-frying, and ends up stopping everyone from buying new real estate on the other side of the mountain that has good views of ‘the coming extinction’. All in good fun…
